Salary/Hourly Rate:
 $25-30 per hour DOE

Position Overview: Our client is looking for a bright and reliable Warehouse Analyst to join their distribution and logistics team. The Warehouse Analyst will assist with managing the inventories, orders, receive and distribute supplies and equipment for hospital utilization. The Warehouse Analyst will serve as the liaison between direct patient care providers and other hospital departments, physician offices, and vendors concerning supplies and equipment. The Warehouse Analyst will also assist in the evaluation of new supplies and equipment, and conduct trial studies as directed and maintain records. The Warehouse Analyst needs to be expert level in Excel, as they will be tasked with inputted inventory and creating reports for managers. 

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Analyst:

  • Assist managers in the evaluation of new supplies and equipment 
  • Maintain active and complete purchasing requisition files and updated price lists
  • Participate in the monitoring and documenting of quality improvement issue
  • Process return of recalled equipment and supplies and maintain active and complete purchase order files
  • Receive shipments, verify invoices, prepare/file related paperwork, and delivers special orders to designated areas
  • Check in return items and document accordingly
  • Move and lift equipment – cut wire and create label for equipment bins and carts
  • Implement vendor traffic control policy and provide suggestions for revision/improvements
  • Identify and share recommendations for containing costs in assigned area
  • Maintain active and complete purchasing requisition files and updated price lists
  • Maintain inventory and orders supplies and equipment
  • Requisition supplies from purchasing based on utilization from charge sheet and/or operative records
  • Notify vendors of obsolete or damaged equipment or supplies to be returned or repaired
  • Handle generated necessary documentation

Qualifications for the Warehouse Analyst: 

  • Expert level in Excel and reporting is a must
  • Willing and able to lift, physically move, and stock items
  • Ability to adapt to and deal with change and ambiguity
  • Knowledge of general store keeping, inventory, and stock control methods
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems and identify solutions
  • Ability to speak and write effectively at a level appropriate for the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area

Education Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
