Our client is a successful, midsize specialty company focusing on skincare treatments and personal care products for the medical and healthcare industry. The client has a fast-paced, friendly work setting that is highly regulated and they are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $16 – $20/hr

Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Technician will be a key player in the company’s Quality team. He or she will be expected to change course quickly, keep a very organized work day and think outside the box. As a Quality Assurance Technician, the employee will be expected to have FDA knowledge and experience implementing quality procedures in a Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Personal Care company.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Technician:

  • Set up and execute GMP trainings
  • Track Corrective Actions and Preventative Actions
  • Oversee audits of quality systems and document all aspects of the quality systems including policies and procedures, forms, methodology and coding
  • Be an integral part of, and often lead investigations on site
  • Develop new product specifications
  • Author and review SOPs
  • Review APR and stability reports
  • Perform Batch Disposition
  • Document non-conformance or products or materials
  • Perform receiving, in process, and final inspection

Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Technician:

  • 6 months – 2 years experience in Quality Assurance in a FDA regulated manufacturing environment (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Personal Care industry preferred)
  • Ability to approach Quality challenges with creativity and drive to think outside the box
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Very good time management skills to prioritize and accomplish tasks, projects and milestones

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related sciences
