Position Overview: Our client is looking for a Leasing Agent / Re-certification Specialist to join their team. The Leasing Agent / Re-certification Specialist will responsible for initiating, scheduling, and completing resident and applicant certification process. The Leasing Agent / Re-certification Specialist will also be responsible for completely weekly/monthly reports, calendaring events, and maintaining the computer database.  Lastly, the Leasing Agent / Re-certification Specialist will organize events and handle basic administrative duties.


  • Initiating, scheduling and completing resident and applicant certification process
  • Application intake
  • Maintaining Yardi database; data entry and reports
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Scheduling meetings in MS Outlook
  • Leasing Agent / Re-certification Specialist will perform basic administrative work such as copying, filing, correspondence, mail and phone
  • Establishing, organizing and maintaining filing systems


  • 1-4 years of Leasing Agent / Re-certification Specialist experience 
  • 1+ years of HUD or Section 8 experience! 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel; Yardi a plus
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through
  • Able to work independently, prioritize, meet multiple deadlines and work as a team member
  • Able to lift / transport 10 pounds

Education Requirements: 

  • Associates Degree
