Our client, an established chemical company is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Import / Sales Support Coordinator to join their sales support team. The candidate must have previous experience importing chemicals, dealing with customs, tariffs, etc.

Position Overview:
 The Import / Sales Support Coordinator candidate will be a vital part of the sales team in providing customer and internal support. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years in chemical import experience, and 3-5 years of experience in data entry. The candidate must be very detail-oriented, with purchasing experience. The Import/ Sales Support Coordinator will be communicating with suppliers, entering orders, following up on shipments, and ensuring materials are ordered, processed and have timely deliveries. They will have great customer service skills and a friendly personable demeanor. 

Responsibilities of the Import / Sales Support Coordinator: 

  • Complete order entries
  • Communicate with contacting suppliers and various departments
  • Follow up on deliveries
  • Control inventory 
  • Handle purchasing
  • Communicate with customs 
Qualifications for the Import / Sales Support Coordinator: 

  • 3-5 years of data entry experience
  • 1-2 years chemical import experience
  • 1-2 years minimum of purchasing experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Fast learner

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
