Job Description

 Our client is a privately-held wealth management company, focused on exceptional quality and customer service. They are now seeking a Financial Advisor to join their growing office. 

Salary/Hourly Rate: $63,000 – $70,000 DOE

Position Overview: The Financial Advisor acts as a liaison between Client Advisors, Senior Client Advisors, and all other service areas of the organization, including Client Tax and Financial Planning Department, Investments, Legacy Planning and Trust Administration, Investments, Philanthropic Advisory Services, and Custody. This is an entry level position, and a great opportunity to streamline your career. 

Responsibilities of the Financial Advisor: 
CLIENT SERVICE

  • Handle routine communication with clients and their advisors via telephone, email and fax
  • Document written and verbal communication with clients and their advisors in CRM
  • Prepare charts and materials for client meeting presentations using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and internal applications as needed
  • Complete financial paperwork from other institutions for clients
  • File correspondence and other documents in internal databases
  • Create documentation of client correspondence for tracking purposes
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings and presentations
  • Interface with clients when questions arise about investment strategy or capital markets outlook

INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

  • Propose and implement investment programs as directed by Client Advisors and Senior Client Advisors
  • Proactively monitor and take action to correct fixed income maturities and client overdrafts based on knowledge and history of the client account
  • Initiate orders for rebalancing of accounts

ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION

  • Work with Client Administration Team to open accounts and coordinate with outside agents the transfer of assets
  • Perform cash management functions using Workflow and Atlas in accordance with established account procedures and applicable fiduciary laws and policies
  • Monitor and assist in covering overdrafts
  • Supervise and pay client bill payments

Qualifications for the Financial Advisor:

  • A minimum of one to two years related business experience preferred (specifically within Wealth Management a plus)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills  
  • Working knowledge of trust administration and fiduciary laws, policies, Regulation-9 and KYC preferred
  • Superior analytical & independent problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork qualities
  • Successful candidate must be results-driven, detailed-oriented and a motivated self-starter
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of trust administration and fiduciary services

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree Required 
  • Degrees From Top 100 USA Universities a Plus
