Our client, a well-known nonprofit organization in New York City, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team.  This is a great opportunity to join an amazing team while working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.


Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will work directly with the Senior Administrator & team to assist with organizing and executing major events and programs. Other responsibilities include scheduling meetings, managing travel requests, running reception area when necessary, and overseeing organization of the office.  You must have at least one year of office experience.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:  

  • Assist with event planning for major events
  • Oversee department inventory and organization
  • Answer and direct phone calls and urgently respond to emails
  • Manage schedules and travel arrangements
  • Organize department meetings and prepare conference rooms

Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:

  • At least one year of administrative experience   
  • Must have bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Hardworking, personable team player
  • Tech Savvy
